Owned and operated by Jessica Gillespie, Free Rein Horsemanship is an ever-evolving holistic approach of working with horses and people. Incorporating the psychology of natural horsemanship and positive reinforcement techniques of clicker training provides a basis of communication between the rider and horse. Jessica also embraces classical dressage, valuing ‘light hands’ and the importance of balance and biomechanics as well as Western trail for added adventure and interest. Free Rein’s goal is to meet the needs of all disciplines, and more importantly to improve the relationship between you and your horse.

Lessons are offered to horse owners of all levels and abilities and are structured to meet you and your horse’s needs. This can range from developing the basic ground work and in-saddle skills needed for recreational riding, to obtaining excellence in refined riding between you and your horse.

Free Rein offers a range of training packages for your horse. Every training package also includes 3-5 lessons for you with your horse in order to integrate any training techniques for future success.

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than bringing a horse and rider to a deeper level of communication.
